Liam Joseph Knyff was born on September 23rd, 2003.  Shortly after, we (his parents) were told our son had Down Syndrome.  Since then, we've learned so so much about the everyday issues children with intellectual and physical disabilities face.  Through this organization, we want to make a big difference on a small scale and we want to honor Liam giving his life meaning and purpose.  We want to help change the world in the same positive way Liam has changed ours. 

 

Liam is a beautiful little boy who loves his family and has a smile that lights up the world.  Liam was recently diagnosed with Autism as well and with the amazing & dedicated staff at the Professional Center For Child Development in Andover, MA, which Liam has attended since he was three, and with his home therapists from Building Blocks, Liam has made huge strides in his development.  Although Liam is unable to speak, he has many ways to communicate his love and affection...and that is all that really matters.
